Listing on PlacePoint is and always will be free. Boosts are an optional way to raise a listing’s visibility for a fixed period — a one-time fee, no subscription, no auto-renewal. They are the only way money affects what people see on PlacePoint.
One-time fee
You pay once. The boost runs for the period you chose, then ends. There is nothing to cancel.
Clearly labelled
Every boosted listing is flagged as boosted in the search results and on the listing page. Renters always know.
No data sold
Buying a boost does not put you, your listing, or your viewers into any third-party advertising program. PlacePoint does not sell user data.
Prices are shown in EUR and include VAT where applicable. Payments are processed by Stripe.

Boosts give a listing a fixed top placement within the relevant filter set for the boost period. Outside the boost slot, the regular ranking still uses the same factors for everyone:
Within 14 days of purchase, you can request a refund if the boost has not yet started running. Once a boost has started, the EU Consumer Rights Directive treats it as a digital service that has begun delivery, so refunds are not normally available after that point. If something on our side fails (the boost did not actually run, or stopped early due to a bug), email support@placepoint.lv and we will make it right. See section 3.1 of the Terms of Service.
No. The vast majority of listings on PlacePoint are not boosted and still receive enquiries. Boosting raises a specific listing for a specific window — it does not gate visibility.
Yes. Each listing is boosted independently. There is no per-account cap.
If we remove a listing for violating our terms during an active boost, the boost is cancelled and a refund is not provided. If the listing is removed due to an error on our side, we refund or replace the boost.
Pausing is not currently supported. Extending: simply purchase another boost — it will queue or stack onto the existing one, depending on tier.
Sometimes. When we do, the discount and the resulting price are shown clearly at checkout before you pay.
